Andrew Clark is the typical sports jock, pressured into being the best by his father. Played supurbly by Emilio Estevez. One of the best acting scenes in the movie comes when Andrew explains to everyone why he is in detention and the pressure his father puts on him to perform.

Emilio has been in many other notable movies including the classics The Outsiders and St Elmo's Fire, along with Repo Man, Young Guns, Men At Work, and Mighty Ducks.
